Counselling or therapy provides an opportunity to make a difference to problems or crises that may seem insurmountable to you on your own. During counselling sessions, I enable clients to explore present circumstances that are being experienced as problematic, and even overwhelming, to discover new ways of coping. I believe that every person has within them the necessary coping skills, but they may need assistance in encouraging these to come to the fore.
